July the 6th - On our way to the 2nd Leg
After a typical Portuguese breakfast at my friend's house (Thank you Miguel and Paul for the wonderful time spent last night), we went on our way to Kuruman for another road stretch (495km) on our way to the 2nd leg that is the Augrabies National Falls. We reached our lodge in kuruman at 16h00. After unpacking the car, we went for a sundowner drive at the Red Sands Country Lodge just 15km west of Kuruman.
By 20h00 we just crashed for the night, as it gets freezing cold at night in the Kalahari.
